Mini-course: automate your first workflow with n8n

What are we building? Something simple and useful: when someone fills in the form on your website, you'll get an instant alert with their details, and the contact will be saved automatically to a spreadsheet.

Step 1 — The trigger: in n8n, create a new workflow with a Webhook node. That URL is the «mailbox» where your form will drop the data.

Step 2 — The spreadsheet: add a Google Sheets node that creates a row with name, phone and message. You'll never lose a contact again.

Step 3 — The alert: add a notification node (Telegram or email). Getting the alert in under a minute lets you call while the customer is still thinking about you — that's where quotes are won.

Step 4 — Switch it on and test it: fill in your own form and watch the magic. This 3-node workflow is the foundation for almost everything else: appointments, quotes, follow-ups…
