What you'll see in this lesson

  1. AI does the bidding now: you set the course

Google, Meta and ChatGPT let AI choose searches, audiences, placements and copy. Your job is to give it good signals and clear limits.

  2. Google AI Max: Search on autopilot

AI Max is a set of features you turn on in a Search campaign: it expands searches, generates copy and picks the landing page.

  3. Performance Max: all of Google's channels

Performance Max spreads a budget across Search, Shopping, YouTube, Display, Discover, Gmail and Maps; it shines for stores with a catalog.

  4. Meta Advantage+: let it pick the audience

Meta's Advantage+ campaigns automate audience, placements and budget, and its AI suggests creatives on Facebook, Instagram and more.

  5. Ads in ChatGPT: now in Spain

OpenAI started in the US in January 2026 and since August 24 shows them in Spain and 30 other European markets, on Free and Go.

  6. Signal 1: real conversions, with their value

The AI learns from what you mark as a conversion. Measure sales and quality leads, with their value, and send them from your CRM too.

  7. Signals 2 and 3: creatives and exclusions

Give the AI varied material to test and a clear list of what it must not touch: your brand, junk searches and dubious placements.

  8. Don't let it eat the budget

Automated campaigns can go over the daily budget on a given day. Set limits, change things gradually and test with a portion.

  9. Summary: AI advertising under control

AI bids better than you if you give it good conversions, varied creatives and clear exclusions, and you watch spend every week.
