Block X · Content production at scale · Lesson 55

Social media on autopilot, for free

You'll set up a complete local system: a content calendar, pieces generated with ComfyUI, and automatic review and publishing with n8n and Postiz, with free software and the few costs some social networks impose.

What you'll see in this lesson

  1. The complete system, from idea to publication

Six chained pieces: a calendar, ComfyUI for images, a model for copy, your approval, Postiz and the networks.

  2. The calendar: a table in charge

Each row is a post: date, network, topic, format and status. n8n reads the pending rows and turns them into pieces.

  3. Images: ComfyUI as a service

You export your ComfyUI workflow in API format and n8n launches it over HTTP, changing only the text, seed and size.

  4. Copy: a local model or a very cheap one

With Ollama and a model like Gemma 4 or Qwen3.8 you write copy for free; via API, a small model costs pennies a month.

  5. Human review: nothing goes out without your OK

Before scheduling, n8n sends each piece to your phone and waits for you to tap Approve or Reject.

  6. Postiz or Mixpost: the post scheduler

Postiz is free and open, has an API, an n8n node and 30+ networks. Mixpost Lite is free, but publishes to only 3.

  7. What each network allows via API

Official APIs have caps and requirements worth knowing before building anything, especially TikTok and X.

  8. How not to get banned

Always post through the official API, at a human volume and with different content on each network and account.

  9. Summary

A calendar, locally generated pieces, your approval and a free scheduler: social media almost on autopilot.
