What you'll see in this lesson

  1. Agentic browsers: from reading to acting

An AI browser doesn't just summarize pages: it clicks, types and fills in forms for you with your open sessions.

  2. Comet: Perplexity's browser

Comet has been free for everyone since October 2025 and brings Perplexity's assistant to every tab.

  3. Gemini in Chrome and its auto browse

Gemini lives in Chrome's side panel and its auto browse completes tasks for you, but it hasn't reached Spain yet.

  4. Claude in Chrome: an extension that takes action

Since August 2026, Claude in Chrome has been generally available on all paid Claude plans.

  5. What happened to ChatGPT Atlas

OpenAI launched Atlas in October 2025, for Mac only, and shut it down on August 9, 2026.

  6. Which tasks to delegate and which not to

Delegate what's repetitive and easy to check; keep for yourself anything involving money, personal data or your reputation.

  7. The big risk: prompt injection

A website, an email or a PDF can hide commands for the agent, and it may obey them as if they came from you.

  8. Rules before letting an agent browse

Treat the agent like an intern with your keys: little access, well-defined tasks and you checking what matters.

  9. Summary: agentic browsers

Web agents save time on repetitive tasks, but they act with your sessions: give them little access and keep watch.
